Love the Lord your God

Does anyone have the words and Chords to the hymn -

Love the Lord your God with all your heart ?

I remember this from school, but I can't remember all the words and chords. I think it's something like G, Em , C, D all the way through.

Is this it, Oliver? I did a search & found something like it at this website, http://the-new-me.bizhosting.com/god.html :

Add Alto: Love one another, for love is of God. He who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, For God is love, God is love.

Add Soprano: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, With all your soul, all your strength, all your mind. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, For God is love, God is love, God is love.

Add Tenor: God is love, God is love, God is love. God is love, God is love, God is love. God is love, God is love, God is love. God is love, God is love, God is love.

Add Bass: Love bears all things, Believes all things, Love hopes all things, Endures all things.

nah, thanks for the effort tho 8-) I know the first verse and the second verse have the same words, something like - 1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
all your soul and all your mind all
Give thanks and love the Lord with all your,br> 2. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
all your soul and all your mind all
Give thanks and love the Lord with all your

3. We've got... something something something blah blah blah
more blah blah here,
and here
and here, ends in the word abide

I really enjoyed this hymn from school cos u sing it in rounds. Verse 1 is medium paced, verse 2 is slow, verse 3 is fast.

Here are the words for your song

Love the Lord your God With all your heart and all your soul And all your mind, and Love all of mankind as you would love yourself...

Love the Lord your God With all your heart And all your soul and mind and (clap) Love mankind...

We've got Christian lives to live We've got Jesus' love to give We've got nothing to hide Because in Him we abide!

The original words (composed in my brother's bedroom in the mid 70's??) were slightly different and were later changed by someone else in the church who didn't think the words were theologically sound...here's the original...

Love the Lord your God With all your heart, with all your soul And all your mind and, Love all of mankind as you would love yourself and

Love, the Lord your God, With all your heart, with all your soul and mind and Love all mankind...

We've got Christian lives to live We've got Christian love to give We've got nothing to hide We've got the Lord on our side!

Sorry - forgot the 'Love...' at the end...

Love...(last time through only)

G Em C D is the way I've always played it. The words got filtered down to me as "We've got Christian lives to live, We've got Jesus Christ to give, We've got nothing to hide because in him we abide, Love..."
