The TabletPC was just "launched" tHis week; I got an Email from www.compUSA.com; That may be a place to start looking at what is available. My Transnote seems to be akin to the TabletPC; IBM did it again:first kid on the block to produce what becomes the next new fad, but IBM seems to have cancelled Transnote just BEFORE every one will want one. I believe the spark that stars a fad is the IBM Firesale of a product (ahead of its time) that is cancelled too soon.
