Gentlemen,

Does anybody have plans for SAL's G-6 or G-7 composite gondolas? I'm close to building patterns for them in HO and would rather do it from plans than interpolating photos. I'd prefer electronic copies at a high resolution if possible. I'm more than happy to pay for them and/or give you some castings. Thanks!

John, I don't currently have plans for those, but I may run across some soon in my research. I'm writing the history of Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company's railroad business, both in-plant, and for other railroads. I'm sure you know that 99000-99999 were built at NNS&DDCo..

I have found pictures of the cars being delivered to the C&O interchange at the Mariners Museum, where most of the old NNS files and photos are archived. Should I find a drawing, I'll notify you.
