Wow. I was just sitting here at work with a Michael Jackson song stuck in my head (that old "I'm bad" one; I don't know the name), and I thought of that interview of him that I saw when it came out. (I'm not a fan of his music either. It's obviously quality music, and a lot of people love it, but it's just not my type.) It makes me sad every time I think of that interview because of everything Cindy Callahan just said. I got so worked up about it that I decided to try to find his email address so I could let him know how I feel. I came up with this site, and I was surprised that Cindy Callahan said just about exactly what I wanted to say. Michael seems like a wonderful person with a good heart. He has the qualities I look for in a friend. I wanted to let him know that, even though that reporter obviously tried his hardest to portray him as someone he isn't, his true personality still shone through, and anyone who can think for him/herself and whose opinion might be worth caring about should have been able to see that. There's a lot more I would like to add, but I don't even know if anyone will even read this, as the thread's rather old. Anyway, the fact that Cindy's comments so mirror my thoughts gives me hope that many people feel the same way, and hopefully some of them are able to reach him and let him know how we feel.

RE: Interview with British Journalist that betrayed Michael Jackson. I've never been a fan of Michael Jackson only because his music isn't quite my style. That British (mid-eastern) journalist that Michael opened his heart and soul to, did a disservice to the man. He had 8 months of tape, of interviews and all he could come up with out of those 8 months is 90 minutes of tape showing the controversial side of Michael Jackson. While watching it, I could not help but feel sorry for him - that man is in great emotional pain - and this journalist took advantage of that, which was so very wrong. He betrayed Michael Jackson and Portrayed him as a nutcase. When it was over, I had a sinking feeling in my stomach and I said " He's going to feel betrayed by this." And that's exactly what he felt. I saw nothing and was witness to anything he did wrong. Even that baby dangling wasn't baby dangling the day they put it on TV... he had his arms firmly around that child and nothing was going to hurt that baby. What this journalist did was unethical and a damn shame. Michael does not have to come out with his own interview to prove otherwise; it was quite obvious he was in emotional pain and hurt and that this man betrayed his trust hoping to come across as the person he is by allowing his mask to be dropped. I would give anything to meet a man who can cry, who can feel, who would not do anything to hurt another human being; there's not enough good people out there. But you tell him to hold his head high, not everyone has been fooled by this documentary. He's good people and we'll leave it at that. But he does have a lot of sadness in him and it's really too bad he doesn't have someone of his peers to help ground him and make him happy. The reason he probably turns to children more than adults is because children don't judge you - their acceptance and love is unconditional. I prefer babies and young kids over adults any day!! Please let him know he is not alone; there are a lot of people out there rooting for him and he has nothing to prove to anyone. Only God knows what goes on in the hearts of men. Tell him to just let it pass and it will. Cindy Callahan Barrington, NH

My friend Onedia and I constanly pray for Michael Jackson for years and we love him and know he is strong, loving, whole and an exemplary human being. The interview done by Martin Bashir was exploitive and demeaning. We feel he used him and then tried to turn an honorable man into an ogre. Keep on doing Godly things.

Teena,

Could you send me Michael Jackson's email address please. I saw the controversial interview in Australia this week and feel compelled to let him know that what I saw in him was a dear, gentle soul who heals.

Thank you.
