Dear Brothers and Sisters (in the United States)

As you all prepare for Thanksgiving and the reunions and joyful fellowship that comes with this occasion I pray that you will all be blessed with safety and travel mercies. As a Bermudian I am reminded of our connection at this time of year as those supplies that finally reached Virginia came from Bermuda. Your ships had been wrecked here and your fore-fathers built new ships from our trees so that the Virginia company would not be wiped out by those American Indians who were against them.

God gives a reason every day to be thankful and I pray his blessings upon you all this thanksgiving season.
