Kalmbach reprint of Rand-McNally 1928 Railroad Atlasgreenspun.com : LUSENET : ACL and SAL Railroads Historical Society : One Thread
Old railroad maps are an asset when researching our favorite railroads. Some years back, Kalmbach reprinted the Rand-McNally 1928 Handy Railroad Atlas of the United States. That reprint itself has been out-of-print for some time. Would anyone have any details about this reprint or suggestions on where one might be likely found? Thanks in advance for your anticipated assistance.

The "Steam Powered" map books are more accurate, Ed. The Rand- McNally sort of generalizes line locations, whereas the Steam Powered maps show actual junctions, abandonments, predecessors, etc.
