Hi Karsten.

I'm not sure what to do, but try the 'are you exp malfunction' menu command. That will erase your user setting and might very well fix the error. Get back to me if it doesn't.

Did you manage to find a fix for this ?

I get this message pop up regularly on my Toshiba laptop with Windows 2000 Pro. Dialouge box title is 'Project1'- perhaps something to do with MS Project?(although MSP is not running when this happens) - pops up roughlt every 10 minutes - very annoying!

Anyone got any suggestions?

I have the same problem here on my HP desktop (XP Home). It's been going on for close to a year and it's driving me insane.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

'Project1' probably indicates a Visual Basic project ie. an executable/application built with VB.

The error basically means that there is some code that is trying to move a form (window) that is maximised or minimised, You cannot move a maximised or minimised window, because it either fills the screen or doesn't appear, therefore it isn't possible to move the window around your desktop.

The solution is to get the developers of the offending program to fix it, or not maximise or minimise the window, resize it using the click and drag principle rather than clicking the max or min buttons.
