Robert Matthew III is having a birthday on Sunday Dec. 8th. Let's wish him a happy birthday

Happy Birthday Robert!!! You give so generously to all of us on this discussion board. And I thank you for I have been recepient of your generosity. To have a birthday during the season of Advent is wonderful, this Sunday as we light the second advent candle we will be thinking of you. I do know Robert's age, but because of clergy confidentiality I cannot tell;-). For those who have lots of money like Bill Dickens, I think a blue porshe would be an appropiate gift to get for Robert. Just the sign the card from all of us. Happy Birthday Robert, you are greatly loved.

Yes I do agree with you sister Rogers that brother Matthews has made some good contributions to this discussion board. The one that I find particularly wise is comments that he made over about a year ago. He said that " Love is not trying to recreate someone else in your image but rather it is looking at the image God has made and saying amen" I wish him a happy birthday and all on this discussion board a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

To My "CyberFriend", Robert Matthews, I wish you the very best on your birthday. It is so wonderful to have made your acquaintance, if only by way of the BB. I have learned so very much from your offerings. You are indeed an anointed educator within our Zion. May you continue to share your knowledge with others, as it is sorely needed. God Bless You!

I also pause to wish Brother Matthews a very happy birthday! He has made me feel right at home on this board with his wisdom and insight, along with the righteous brother QED, and Rev. Denise Rogers. Bless you all!

Dear Brother Birthday greetings to you. I am pleased to have tapped into your thoughts through this board. I am blessed to have met you in Georgia last year. May God richly bless you and your family. We need more soldiers armed and equipped to serve God through this denomination.

Robert,

You are without doubt one the most brilliant, loyal and generous people that I have ever met! I have so learned much about true Christianity through your example of impeccable character, great wisdom and true humility. Anyone knowing can do nothing but admire the greatness that God has given you. You are a real CHAMPION in every way! I am exceedingly glad that God in his providence allowed our paths to cross in this journey of life.

Happy Birthday and MANY MANY......MORE!!!

Amiably,

Kevin

Allright everybody sending birthday wishes and no one offering a cake or candles. Maybe somebody from Brooklyn can send Robert some famous cheesecake from Jr.'s. Just 'cause its your birthday that doesn't mean you can party all night Saturday night and sleep in on Sunday. P.S. Save a slice of cheesecake for me :-) QED

Did someone mention "Junior's" in Flatbush? That would be an excellent cake of choice to celebrate one's birthday! Happy Birthday Robert! Oh by the way, I just ordered My "Christmas Cheesecake" from Junior's.

This has really meant more than I could ever say. To have an online birthday party and all of you came. What is more each of your left the most valuable gift one could ever have--your friendship and your love.

One of the greatest preachers and teachers who ever lived said (my paraphrase), "Much of what we do and know will some day pass away. Even the gifts of the Spirit will cease to be. However, three things will always remain. These three things are FAITH, HOPE and LOVE. The greatest of these three is LOVE."

Thank you for giving the gift, which willalways remain. Thank you for giving the greatest gift of all. Thank you for giving yourself and your Love.

God bless you all for making my day and filling it with love.

By the way, I am 58 years old. Like most Americans I still wish I were young. But since the alternative to getting older is to die and since almost four years ago I was given three days to live, I thank God or another day and another year. And most of all I thank God for my ever widening circle of family and friends like you.
