If the recipe calls for Self rising flour and all you have is all-purpose flour: how much baking soda/baking powder do you add to 1 cup all purpose flour to equal 1 cup self rising flour?

Answers

Add 2 teaspoons baking powder to 1 cup plain (all purpose) flour and sift well. Cheers.

Are 3 daisies equal to 2 tulips?

Or would that make the dough come out sounding like 4 lisp's?

(Do your buns rise less if you use low-colorie flower dough?)

I don't know about low-calorie flowers Robert, but too much fat definitely causes saggy buns. Cheers.
