I had a full hip replacement 10 years ago at the age of 38.The following year It needed a revision because it had come loose. Jan 2002 I fell and broke my left leg.After surgery I was left with a metal bar put in my leg.After 10 months i still couldn't walk with out aids so the bar was removed.This has been the 4th major operation on the thigh Muscel and i still have a black mark on the thigh bone. will my muscel grow back ,will i get any strenth back into the leg.

It is difficult to make a concrete prediction on your specific case from the information provided. Generally, muscles can be strengthened by exercise. The program should be guided by your physician under the care of a physical therapist. Strengthening may be slower to achieve in previously damaged muscles.
