By concidence, I checked in today to ask the same question. Why? -- just nostalgia I guess. After all, this board was the son (or grandson or great grandson) of Timebomb 2000.

And, I miss the Y2K crisis. It was a chance for a lot of well meaning people to argue about how the world works, what interconnections existed, and so forth -- and (uniquely) to get a definitive answer to their arguments and theories on January 1, 2000. (Me, I spent the rollover in Cozumel, Mexico, on the Plaza, drinking upscale tequila).

But, that was a long time ago. I think Unk Deekah has a new board with a more contemporary slant.

It is probably time for this board to past away graciously into the night.
