I Have Also Taken the Plunge

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

Took delivery of an 02 Diamonte F4 S yesterday. While I agonized a bit about the current financial situation at MV, I finally said to hell with it and pulled the trigger. Obtaining the best always involves a bit of risk...

You don't by chance live in Dallas do you Larry? Jr mentioned they sold the Diamante within the last couple of days.

Congrats. Hopefully when the 03's arrive, you, Jim and I can go for a ride (and whoever else is in the Dallas area for that matter).

I'm sure you enjoyed the weather today! ;)

Congradulations! :D Don't worry about MV's current financial situation. They'll be back in production by January. And worse come to worse, someone will buy MV Agusta out. It's just to special to fade away.

Dauly, would you have any photos of your silver-blue F4?

What is Diamonte? I haven't heard of that one.

I'd also like to see pictures of the silver and blue one.

I'm wondering how "rare" is the Diamante version.

I believe the "Diamante" version is simply an all silver F4S whereas as the red and silver is a "Corsa" version. Both solo and 1+1 versions were available in either color scheme. I'd bet the Corsas easily out number Diamantes 5-to-1. In the States, anyway.
