I'm thinking of getting one, mainly because it's a dvd player with Final Fantasy games ^_^ so what other games do you guys recommend for it? Is there a Twisted Metal for PS2?

I'm pretty sure there is a twisted metal for PS2. Not sure, i dont have a PS2, i mainly play my friends. Good games though, i recommend FFX(duh), umm, GTA3(awesome), and buy a modem or ethernet card and get FFXI when it comes out. BTW, have you guys seen the PS2 Linux kit? Badass.

Yes, there is a Twisted Metal game for the PS2, Twisted Metal Black. Good games for the PS2 include: The afore mentioned TMB, Zone of Enders, Metal Gear Solid 2, Onimusha 1&2, Grand Theft Auto3, and Vice City. There are others, but, this is a good start.

TM:B will hold your interest for about three seconds. It's way too hard, even on normal.I want a game I can ENJOY, not get killed 30 seconds into the game. Some reccomendations?

Devil May Cry- You think you know action? You don't know action. Buy this, now, pull of crazy shit, and act like a badass all the while.

Monster Rancher 3- Ok, no training, it's cel-shaded, and you can't mix monsters...what can I say? I'm a sucker for Monster Rancher! Pick this up if you want something you can put depth into.

FFX- No explanation necessary. ^_^

Zone of the Enders- The story is blah, all you do is backtrack, but HELL, this game is fun. The action is very fast paced, get it if you want to enjoy the battle system. Plus, it's like 20 bucks. Can't beat that!

Onimusha- Albeit short, IMO, way better than the sequel. Pick it up for a great sleeper hit.

The Bouncer- Another that was underappreciated. Not much time on your hands? Need a game you can mess around with? You can finish it in 2 hours, max. If you want, go back through the game to strengthen your characters. Multiplayer is a blast.

GTA3- Vice city is good, but boring. GTA3 has a much better location, the city is actually fun to drive around, and the main character doesn't run like an ass. You can also carry all the weapons. Much better!

Kingdom Hearts- Albeit Evil-Disney, this game is a great Action/RPG hit. You'll be playing this for days. Don't shrug it off because of the Disney franchise, pick it up, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I have 1,2,3, and 4 of the Twisted Metal series.....somewhere in my room....TMB is ok, kinda diffacult and i do always end up getting pissed and using cheats to let loose my frustration on the cheap bastard...other then that it's pretty damn good. Also, one more game you MIGHT like is Metal Gear Solid 2, it's not an easy game either, but it's not as cheap ass as TMB, and it's always fun to hold someone up with a unloaded gun and then run like hell as they stand with their arms in the air wondering if you'll shoot them...

Tony Hawk 4 is supposed to be good. The soundtrack looks sweet. Goldfinger,Sex Pistols, Offspring, System of a Down. You just cant beat that!
