how does streamlining your flipturns benefit in reducing drag?

Have you ever tried to do a flipturn completly open? Its really hard... so the tighter you are the eaiser it is to turn, so you go faster.

What do you mean by streamlining ur flips? after you come off the wall stream line and kick like no other.
