How can I transfer or convert my music from a VCD into a CD?

You open the *.dat files in MPEGAV directory of the VCD in the MPEG Tools>demux section of TMPGenc. After demuxing you get an *.mpv and *.mpa files. The *.mpa file is Layer-2 audio, which in turn you need to open in an audio editor that will accept and read it (like Cool Edit) and then save it to *.wav. You can now burn these *.wav to CDDA.

I just copy the .DAT file into the hard drive, rename it as filename.mpg, open this .mpg with GoldWave, and save it as .Wav, in CD quality.
