Does anyone know how to rip DVD's?

I rip occasionally. At first I used seperate Audio streams and video streams and timed/sync'd them myself (took all day for an hours worth of movie.) I'm now using a nifty program called SmartRipper ( http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/smartripp er.cfm ) I don't know if it handles subtitles well as I haven't tried yet =P Subtitles were generally a pain in the rear before I discovered SmartRipper, you'll have to figure that out for yourself.
