That's probably the case. Most direct dl sites have very short lifespans because of bandwidth usage. Posting the links here was the equivalent of a death sentence, so to speak. http://web.mit.edu/bandersn/anime/ should still be working, though.

Who's that SOMEONE to do all the hard work for you? Why don't YOU do it? Actually I did something of the sort on an ancient post months ago. I went through lots of the links people had posted here to see whether they were working or not and what they had. Several of the links posted here are dead or are slow or have crappy-quality eps. web.mit.edu/bandersn/anime has the most recent fansubs available for direct dl. Currently there's KG 24, DD 28, WR 09 and Gunparade March 6.
