history of Art Deco Punch bowl

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Art Deco Society of Washington : One Thread

Several years ago I was given a punch bowl that has on the bottom of the bowl the words in a circle 'CHROMIUM PLATED' and within the circle are the initials L B. It is in excellent shape and has 11 of the ruby red Roly Poly cups. Any help in learning the history of this set will be most appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help. God bless, Eva

The punch bowl was made by Lehman Brothers, probably in the late 1930s. It is pictured on page 89 of my book "Art Deco Chrome," although at the time I did not know that LB was short for Lehman Brothers.
