THE SPARTANS WHERE NEVER PART OF ALEXANDER'S EMPIRE NOR DID THEY LIKE HIM ALEXANDER THE GREAT IF YOU LOOK AT A MAP OF ALEXANDER'S EMPIRE YOU WILL SEE SPARTA WAS NOT PART OF IT.

Normally I answer all questions to this forum with frightening promptitude. In your case, I chose to mime your answer by remaining strictly out of sight... as were the Spartans during Alexander's campaigning in Asia. Imagine the Peloponnese as a rabbit hole.

After the ascendancy of Thebes under Epaminondas, the Spartans increasingly became homebodies who stuck to their knitting. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
