i am trying to trace my family history.my grandfather Walter L.Barbee.His brothers and sisters are Effie,swannalee(who died at 18 months)Lewis,Dora Barbee Fisher,Grady,Crone,Emma,Les or Lester,Ray or Raymon(d),Spence,and Willie.From what i have been told growing up their parents where James Hiriam Barbee and Ann Eudy Barbee.Their parents where Seigh Barbee and Sally Barbee.if anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.All where born in stanly county.Thankyou.Brent Barbee

From Marriage , Stanly County, NC 1851-1904 Hiram BARBEE age 23 son of Josiah (deceased) and Sarah married Aldia Ann EUDY no age listed daughter of Harrison (deceased) and Phoebe EUDY married on 24 Aug 1893 by A. A. Harvell, JP Book II page 134.

Josiah BARBEE married Sarah Smith on 01 Nov 1860 by G. D. Whitley, JP Book I page 37

EUDY, Wm. H. 34 son of Wm. and Sarah (deceased) to Feobe R. HUNEYCUTT age 25 daughter of Alford and Nancy Huneycutt on 16 Jan 1877 by R. A. Almond, JP Book II page 46

Have done a lot of research on the EUDY line because my gt gt grandmother had a sister who married an EUDY in Stanly Co., then both families moved to Pope Co. Arkansas. Might be able to go back farther on this line for you. Lina
