What happened to Alexander the Great?

I notice that, every episode without fail the murderer broke down and confessed in the witness box under the relentless cross-examination of Perry Mason. I also notice that The Perry Mason Show has been playing continuously on television for over forty years. Millions upon millions of people watch it. They can't get enough of it.

I am capable of putting two and two together. I figure a tearful confession or two might just be the kind of box office boost this place needs. You can even hire a Della Street look-alike to hang around with you. Yessssir! That would be just the thing!

And see if you can dig up somebody to play Hamilton Burger, will you? Why leave anything to chance?

And your reason for proving my point is?

Say, wait a minute there fella. I am beginning to wonder if you even know what happened to Alexander. You may talk big, but you haven't got the goods. I, on the other hand, have a full line of goods. At the moment I am well-stocked with Turkish cigarettes in coarse brown paper, and superfine Morroccan castor bean oil. Many other items are procurable at short notice, if people will just tell me in advance what their needs might be. Alexander information of all grades and sizes is just a side line of mine. Though the foot traffic is slow, it is steady.

I don't think she's here anymore, your half-assed answer saw to that.

Therefore, there's no point in responding.

Even so, I notice that you can't even respond to *ME* without the same snide attitude. That's the reason none of these threads go anywhere, most people (excepting philanthropists like myself) don't want to keep putting up with your poor attitude, and demeaning tone. It's actually kind of ironic if you think about it. Your hero Alexander's "empire" fell apart as soon as he wasn't there to maintain it, and since you haven't fostered any relationships *here*, this forum will disappear from view as soon as YOU quit maintaining it! Pretty neat, huh? You share something in common with A the G!

I am just so ashamed! But your answer didn't help poor Brandi one whit. Go on, now. Tell her what happened to Alexander the Great. I am going to go around the corner to have a good cry while you two can have a nice chat about it.

Sure. I've seen your other responses, which are all the same.

"What happened at Jhelum?"

'Alexander lived, was lauded by the pundits of the day.'

The problem is YOU, not the quesioner.

2, or whatever it is you prefer to be called, how would you answer such a question? My response was both utterly factual and completely applicable. Remember, Brandi did not ask about anything that Alexander did, but rather "what happened to" him.

Give it a go. I'm all ears. Brandi would be interested to know more, too, I'm sure.

So what's the use of keeping this forum and responding to people if you only give snotty answers?

-- Anonymous, February 12, 2003

Didn't you hear? He died. It was in all the newspapers.
