Hi,

I have used a Vivitar 729AFN speedlight on my F60 and the AF assist light will not be used, instead the speedlight will emit the infrared to assist focusing. BUT when I used it on my F80, the speedlight does not use the infrared to assist focusing. Why is this so? I would very much like to use the infrared as its not that glaring. Is there any setting that I need to do on my F80? Btw, I'm using a Tamron 28-200 XR lens. Please kindly advise. Thanks.
