I give up!

OK, I give up... I've tried the older versions, installing the latest patch, and the newest Beta... the folders are mirrored perfectly to my ACOM 60Gb external USB2 drive, but no files are copied... only thousands and thousands of file errors logged. The program looks promising, and I love the interface and simplicity of configuration, but it just doesn't do the job it says it does... at least, not for ME. My computer is a 1.0BHz Intel Pent 3, 512Mb RAM, Win98SE. Trying to back up drive C: to drive F:, described above... No luck. Hope you get it working soon.

Hi Tom. The latest patch doesn't work very well on non-XP machines it seams, as you point out. But final version 2.0 should work fine. It doesn't? What happens?

Hi. I've test run the new beta (version 6) on a WinME machine and if works fine (version 5 didn't). Most likely NHB beta 6 runs fine on all versions of windows later than Win95. You'll find it for download at the homepage.

I didn't try the final 2.0 version, only the Beta... but whatever I tried didn't write files into the empty folders it copied... No files copied, all file errors indicated. At any rate, I am now using HDCopy, which isn't slick like yours, but does the job just fine.

Thanks, Tom
