SAL Milepost 341

I have a 1933 photo of track near milepost 341. I believe this to be on the SAL EC division. If I am correct, where is 341 located?

Thanks, gentlemen. My grandfather was section master at Hemingway at the time the picture was taken, so the mp on the Andrews sub is correct, I'm sure. I found the pictures while going through my late mother's mementos. Thanks for your assistance.

Tom: I used the Virginia Division Time Table #3 (eff. 10/30/60) to come up with the locations the first time. Miles were calculated from Main Street Station, Richmond. Now I have the SAL condensed profile at hand. On the Hamlet Sub., Elgin (Blaney) shows as MP 339.0, Pontiac as MP 343.8. On the Andrews Sub, Johnsonville shows as 338.4 and the mileage at Hemmingway has been obliterated.

SAL mp.341 would have been about 1 1/2 mile south of Elgin, SC, at Bookman Road crossing, and about a 1/2 mile north of US Hwy 1, on the Hamlet Sub. Everything I have here shows mileposts on the line through Charleston (Andrews Sub) starting with 0.0 mp at Hamlet, while the Hamlet mp numbering started in Richmond, Va. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

Mile Post 341 on the Andrews Sub (EC) is near Hemmingway, S.C. By comparison, Mile Post 341 on the Hamlet Sub is near Pontiac, S.C.
