God is all knowing, words cannot convey his love. Do not be full of pride and sloth, get up and help. Take religion aside, people will do what they will, just help them out when they are feeling blue. Even if you don't get into heaven, you must know in your heart it is the right thing to do.

Works of charity ARE a way to get to heaven, Seth! Keep up your good works; love people with the heart of Jesus. This is what Mother Teresa of Calcutta did, and look at how many people she helped!

Still, she found time to immerse herself in prayer, worship, and studying God's Word. This only made her ministry to the poor, the outcasts of society, the sick, etc., a more fruitful ministry.

Her books are amazing, and instill in all of us a desire to reach out to those less fortunate...or as Mother called them, "Jesus, in the distressing disguise of the poor." She believed what Jesus said, "Whatever you do for the least of these, you do it for Me."

You have a good heart, Seth.
