I have so far a small collection compared to others. I only have about 38 gb worth of anime. You mostly can get them off of bit torrent or direct connect.

Berserk is okay if horror manga is your thing.

Gah, i cant stand IRc, all the Queue slots are always full ! :P

Then you're probably on the wrong channel. The bigger ones are really well known so they take a huge amount of patience (though it pays off) but you can find some great stuff at smaller places.

I like bittorrent...I've had problems with IRC, but would use it a lot if I didn't. Get into a queue in the morning, set it to auto-get, and head to school or work or whatever.

I have a small amt. of anime. Only like 9 gigs. I'm saving for a burner so that I can make cd's. All I really have is all of love hina and video girl ai.

I have all of the currently fansubbed Inuyasha Episodes and the first movie. All in all it's about 22,425 MB of anime. Most of them are downloaded fansubs, and I've got them stored as VCDs on 39 CDs.

By the by, that's about 46 GB of anime (each episode is about 200 MB). For those who want to know there are 1024 bytes in a kilobyte, 1024 KB in a MB (that's 1048576 bytes), and 1048576 MB in a GB (that's 1,099,511,628,000 bytes or 1,073,741,824 KB). WOW, that's a lot of numbers, and I just showed I know a little too much about computers. ^_^ Maybe that'll help some people figure out how many GBs of anime they have.

I don't think that diskspace is the best way to measure Anime... If youre a dedicated and SMART Anime fan who knows how to get episodes online, you'll know that the best files are SMALL, therefore, all you people who say you have like 50 Gigs of Anime, at about 200-250 Megabytes each, someone with only like 20 Gigs could have the exact same anime as you only better, because they know how to conserve diskspace... It SHOULD be measured in terms of # of Series and Episodes in the series. Or in CD's like you said...

It's true, you can find 150MB files that are better-quality and better subbed than some 220MB files out there, it pays to look around. I don't have that much anime but I have loads of manga. Does that count?

-- Anonymous, April 17, 2003

Yeah! I even have eps that are as low as 25 MB, and they are full eps, too...

not that much, only 21 gig on a bunch of cds, but most of the full episodes range from 16mb - 150 mb

-- Anonymous, April 18, 2003

I only download the 200 MB files because I want to turn them into VCDs. You need really high quality episodes for the VCD to look good on your television. ^_^
