Sailor Moon is an amazing anime! It's one of the few that has morals and doesn't get boring after 200 episodes, 5 seasons, 3 movies and multiple specials including musicals! Sailor moon has something for everyone, and shouldn't be forgotten!

All I have seen is the DiC version of Sailor Moon and it sucks bad. All the episodes are the same. A powerful enemy sends a henchman to steal human souls and then the Serina tries to stop it. She fights like a klutz and gets her ass beat. Then the other scouts or tuxedo something help her out and distract the henchman while reminding Serena that she has a powerful finishing move. Then Serena uses it and the episode is over. The transformations look gay, take too long, and it gets old after the 40th time. You do this about 82 times and you got a series. Yay!!! I have only seen a handful of episodes so correct me if I'm wrong, but after seeing some random episodes they were all the same.

Oh and the voice acting is shit.

I don't know anything about the manga or Japanese version!!!!!!!

Then bean machine, you have only seen the screwed up Americanized version, which sucks btw. The only reaason you are so down on certain animes is because of the fact that you only saw what the FCC and certain sponsors thought you wanted to see.

I buy all my anime subbed, I recently purchased Rurouni Kenshin series and OVAs. I have never bothered to buy anything Sailor Moon related cause a Japanese exchange student friend of mine said it sucked.

I have also recently purchased the Cowboy Bebop Movie and it is badass.
