Is a 3-day prayer considered a Novena.

I have come across the following prayer to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. It indicates to say it for 3 days. Is this considered a Novena?

Oh most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, fruitful vine, spledor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. Oh Star of the sea, help me and show me that you are my mother. Oh Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of heavn and earth, I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in my necessity. (Make request).

None can withstand your power. Oh, Mary conceived without sin, pray for us (Say 3 times). Holy Mary, I place this cause in your hands. (Say 3 times)

A novena is said for 9 days. I believe a 3-day prayer is called a triduum.

It's a lovely prayer, but I don't think it could properly be called a novena if it's said over a three-day period. Here is a novena to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel you might like.
