Inuyasha CDs?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Animes : One Thread

Hey guys, Whats up? I just needed to know if anyone has all the Inuyasha DIVX files on CDs yet (the subbed versions from Kazaa, IRC or Bittorrent) and what each cd holds, in other words, what episodes are on what CD. Because I have downloaded a whole lot of the newer episodes (because I have seen the early episodes) and I am working on downloading the early episodes. However, the episodes I do have are taking up my hard drive space but I don't know how to put the episodes into cds exactly because I don't have all the episodes. So I just need to know if anyone can tell me how their episodes fit into their cds (ballpark thats all) -- Something like: CD1 = Episode 1 to Episode 5. Thanks a million.

I have up to the episode 105 on 25 cd's and it varies between 3 to 5 (and sometimes mores it's all depending on there size) shows per cd's. Hope that could help you

I can usually get about 3 episodes to a disc. Each of my files are usually 200 or more MB. But I store my episodes as VCDs.

If your operating system is windows all you should have to do is right click the file and select properties on the menu. The size of your file should appear in the window that pops up. Just add up the episodes until you get close to 700 MB (don't go over that per CD because that's all one CD will hold). Hope that helps.

Just a quick question? What episodes are on your last CD you made (DIVX version only)? That way I can start Making the CDs from there and have it about right. Thanks a lot so far.

I have episodes 1-105 and the first movie (split to fit on two discs). The last VCD I made has episodes 103-105. There's no way for me to tell you how many episodes you can fit on a disc because I don't know that the files you downloaded are exactly the same as mine. You'll just have to figure it out by adding up the file sizes. ^_^

Or if it's a VCD, add up the minutes/lengths of your videos rahter than the filesize.

Your best bet would be about 3 ep per CD. the ep that I have are all between 150 and 200 Mb and they are avi file. But yours might be different so I would suggest that you check there size before burning them, and whit that try making a calcullated guess on how many can you fit on 1 cd-rom. still hopping this could help

What was the title of that post about the VCDs? I tried ctrl+f but couldn't find it. Burning 3 eps per CD is really taking a toll on the ol' budget, ya know?

Controller J,

The name of the VCD post was "Why pay for VCDs when you can make them". Well at least I think I named it something like that. ^_^ As for the amount you can fit onto a CD: If it's a VCD you can about 80 minutes of audio/video onto it(it depends on the quality of your video to a point too, that is to say "larger files=less per disc" but you have a better quality video). If you're just putting AVI files on the disc you can put up to 700 MB.

Anyway, if you want to see the tutorial on how to make VCDs go to my website, I've posted it up there.
