Hi Eric, Ur explanation is really very helpful for me. at present i got a problem like the server's database size is growing fastly. it was 900mb previously but now it is around 1.8 G.B.what might be the problem? they have around 40 temporary tables. might be because of that! if it so shall i delete those temporary table records. The same database in oracle occupies only 300 MB SPACE
