Bohemian Grove

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Has anyone every heard of Bohemian Grove? Its apparently an exclusive resort for the rich and POWERFUL, but it sounds like freemasonry to me, or possibly some mystery Babylon satanic cult. Scary part, though, is many of our nations leaders are involved. Here's a link. Before everyone starts screaming about "governmental conspiracies," many mainline "liberal" and "conservative" news sources are cited throughout this man's web site.

Hi, Gail.
I think that it's an "urban legend," cooked up by leftists.

Hi John:

No, it's not an e-mail hoax. I have seen the video tape this fellow put out. He and a fellow reporter (along with the BBC) infiltrated the Bohemian Grove 2-3 years ago. They taped a sacriligious ceremony at the Grove. The BBC published the report, some mainline news outlets picked up the story, but then were shut down immediately. You can view a bit of the full-length video at the above site for youself. The Bohemian Grove is an exclusive resort for the powerful, liberals and conservatives. It is also highly secretive. The ceremony that I viewed was outright Satanism! They are performing a mock sacrifice and worshipping, of all things, an owl!

Additionally, Alex Jones has put out news clips (also listed on his site) in another video from various secular agencies, from NewsMax to Peoples, Matt Drudge, NBC and CBS (just to name a few)documenting some very strange things concerning 9/11 and Timothy McVeigh. He lends himself great credibility when he interviews David Schiffer (President Clinton's PROSECUTOR) at very great length. David Schiffer came across some suspect information prior to 9/11. He tried repeatedly IN VAIN, over and over again, to get the info to the White House and Attorney General, and never got a response. David Schiffer is in the inner circle. He is not a liberal! And he was SHUT OUT by the powers that be. Why? That's the golden question.

The video also shows various news personalities, some of which are very well known (Diane Sawyers for one), interviewing families that have already received the MICROCHIP! Then there is a clip of Andy Rooney discussing the very great need for a data base containing all of our personal information.

It's all creepy stuff -- and governmental conspiracy theory to be sure. The documentation that this fellow has is quite credible since he has scoured news agencies of all different types, and putting together a really frightening expose'.

Do you know the FBI has published ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE, a list of dangerous people, and that Christians are listed as "terrorists".

I wish someone out there would at least watch the clip on the Bohemian Grove that is available at the above site.

Thanks,

Gail

gail,

sorry to tell you this, but that whole organization is a conspiracy theory mumbo jumbo hoax. as a member of the united states air force i can tell you that i am most certainly NOT being trained to control the american populace, as mr jones so confidently claims, and having attended public school i was never trained to turn in my family and friends to the police. tell mr jones that 1984 was a FICTION novel. the bohemian grove is a sham. i live less than a half an hour from where they are talking about, and i've never even heard of it. where i come from, a deer doesnt crap in the wilderness that everybody doesnt know about in a matter of days. there is NO way that all that could happen here and no one would know. sorry to burst your bubble.

Hi Paul, thanks for responding, and I certainly did not mean to offend anyone in our Armed Services!

Here's a link to a website claiming to have an FBI report on terrorism listing Christians as possible terrorists, especially "end time" groups. ///www.wso.net/kurios/megiddo.htm

FYI, the FBI article is legitimate. I went to the FBI.gov site and did a search and popped it up on PDF, (which is a real pain to read). But the article posted is real.

You said that the Armed Forces are not trained to attack U.S. citizens. The ATF most certainly is and DID attack innocent women and children at Waco. That's a fact. It was a governmental attack on U.S. citizens.

Love,

Gail

P.S. Paul, you didn't burst my bubble! I am not really into governmental conspiracy theories, but I'm not going to hide my head in the sand either.

-- Gail (rothfarms@socket.net), May 13, 2003.

Whoops, Paul, I think you said this Club doesn't exist. Perhaps you should check out this article at Businessweek.com. They say it does, and that indeed the world's rich and powerful elite MEN ONLY do go there!

-- Gail (rothfarms@socket.net), May 13, 2003.

gail,

read this guys work... he claims all of our forces are training to take over the world in a police state. the very fact that i know this to not be the case makes me less likely to believe that whatever else he said is true. i know government forces were used in Waco... but there was a very specific reason for that and those people were never trained or taught that they should be called upon to attack the american populace. the location of the sacrifices that he claims happen isnt correct, and theres no pagan cult there. sorry to tell you this but its a sham meant to make money off anyone whos willing to listen to conspiracy theories.

-- paul (dontsendmemail@notanaddress.com), May 13, 2003.

But Paul, with all due respect, the FBI considers Christians a terrorist threat. The report makes that quite clear. Bible studies are being shut down across the country by the "police." It just happened recently in a town about 30 miles from where I live. Kids are getting thrown out of school for carrying Bibles in AMERICA and/or praying. These are facts! NOT crazy rumors. Isn't it absurd and unthinkable that a country who many "claim" is Christian has to fight for the right to carry a Bible to school, or conduct private Bible studies? Who would have EVER THOUGHT we would be where we are today in AMERICA? There was a report last year that came out on the news concerning the governments desire that pastors submit their sermons for "editing" so that "hate speech" can be controlled!

Now, as to the Alex Jones' videos, on the first video I watched from Mr. Jones (I think it's called "Police State) it shows via video, armed police infiltrating a Christian school in Texas. It is a highly regarding church and school, and not some sort of fundamentalist Waco. The police come in and raid the place causing mass hysteria and hauling people off, with kids screaming bloody murder.

As to the military -- you as a military person are required to take orders from the top with no questions asked, right? If you were told via your commandos that a particular group was a "threat" and ordered to take control, you would do so, no questions asked. Look, Paul, I love our young men and women in the Forces -- they are precious to me! But they are trained to take orders and get the job done, NO MATTER WHAT!

I just want to re-emphasize Mr. Jones documents his sources with great detail. Again, they are local and some national mainline news agencies. He doesn't just go on a two hour narrative rampage. He backs up what he says with credible evidence.

You know, perhaps he is making a mountain out of thousands of little mole hills, but Christians ARE BEING assaulted in this country, BY THIS COUNTRY! And we are in a spiritual battle of epic proportions and Paul, Satan works through HUMANS!

Love,

Gail

P.S. How many presidents were freemasons? Quite a few!

-- Gail (rothfarms@socket.net), May 14, 2003.

But Paul, with all due respect, the FBI considers Christians a terrorist threat. The report makes that quite clear.

gail, gail, gail, did you actually read that article? christians arent listed as terrorists. a group called christian identity is listed as terrorists. ever watch a documentary on christian identity? theyre an extremist white power group closely related to the KKK and american nazis. but those people who are considered the most organized anti-ethnicity group in the nation cant be terrorists can they? bbbzzzzzzzz, wrong. they consider themselves rightous in their actions, but so did hitler. dont mistake their name being christian identity for them being actual christians.

Bible studies are being shut down across the country by the "police." It just happened recently in a town about 30 miles from where I live.

okay, tell me what happened and why the bible group and the "police" said it was cancelled. i'll believe it once ive heard BOTH sides of the story.

Kids are getting thrown out of school for carrying Bibles in AMERICA and/or praying. These are facts! NOT crazy rumors. Isn't it absurd and unthinkable that a country who many "claim" is Christian has to fight for the right to carry a Bible to school, or conduct private Bible studies?

i cant agree with you more. it is a childs right to carry a Bible to school and to pray. those children who are having their rights infringed should sue their school. but thats not a government conspiracy at all. thats a school overreacting to the lawsuits by atheists and therefore canceling what they consider to be dubious activities.

Who would have EVER THOUGHT we would be where we are today in AMERICA? There was a report last year that came out on the news concerning the governments desire that pastors submit their sermons for "editing" so that "hate speech" can be controlled!

i would love to see this report, why dont you post a link to this one (but if its like the christian identity thing, i think its a little misguided too).

Now, as to the Alex Jones' videos, on the first video I watched from Mr. Jones (I think it's called "Police State) it shows via video, armed police infiltrating a Christian school in Texas. It is a highly regarding church and school, and not some sort of fundamentalist Waco. The police come in and raid the place causing mass hysteria and hauling people off, with kids screaming bloody murder.

well, whats the otherside of the story? why is it that this national news level story conveniently fell into the hands of alex jones and ONLY alex jones? convenient isnt it? the only person with the video can sell it to you now for ten dollars. i would bet there was a good reason the cops went in there (bomb threats, drug bust, etc, etc. even the best christian schools have bad apples. my school had fourteen serious bomb threats in three weeks. it was almost normal to see the SWAT sniper on the roof, but we all understood and werent scarred).

As to the military -- you as a military person are required to take orders from the top with no questions asked, right? If you were told via your commandos that a particular group was a "threat" and ordered to take control, you would do so, no questions asked.

one of the first lessons we learn is about integrity in action. as an air force member the first core value is labelled "integrity first." we are all knowledgable about what constitutes an immoral action (such as attacking innocent civilians). if such an order came to me i would relieve the giver of their command and speak to my next superior for new orders. cut and dried, military arrest for those who go nuts on our own people. conversely, would i follow orders against a group of people trying to storm and burn down the white house? probably. i believe in the democratic system, and using force against your own government makes treason.

Look, Paul, I love our young men and women in the Forces -- they are precious to me! But they are trained to take orders and get the job done, NO MATTER WHAT!

i love you too gail, but we men and women in the forces are still independent and free thinking people. not giving up our humanity is what makes our military so superior to others. please dont think of us as war machines, we're just like you... with guns.

I just want to re-emphasize Mr. Jones documents his sources with great detail. Again, they are local and some national mainline news agencies. He doesn't just go on a two hour narrative rampage. He backs up what he says with credible evidence.

if you want, i have a beach in florida i can sell you pretty cheap... ive even got a picture from a pretty credible website ;)

just kidding, but hes a fanatic. its happens, we military are used to getting conspiracy theory mumbo jumbo all the time. it just so happens hes more off the wall than most people ive heard of.

You know, perhaps he is making a mountain out of thousands of little mole hills,

thats a major understatement. as i see it, america, especially our youth, is posed on the brink of a resurgence into conservativism. this is apparent in churches accross the nation. people are sick of feeling guilty.

but Christians ARE BEING assaulted in this country, BY THIS COUNTRY! And we are in a spiritual battle of epic proportions and Paul, Satan works through HUMANS!

you know, a little chastisement is just what christianity needs right now. in our leisure time since acceptance by Rome we've grown fat and lazy and fallen away from the way of God. i doubt satan would be so obvious as such a direct attack on the church. think of what a purifying and uniting factor that would be among good christians. no, satan wants us right where we are, feeding off the hand of secular support.

Love,

Gail

love,

paul

-- paul (dontsendmemail@notanaddress.com), May 14, 2003.

Hey Paul, I hope you are right. And I agree the church is ready for a little chastisement! I also agree that young people are more conservative -- what hope that gives us all!

But I really don't trust our government, and I really do believe some people in our leadership are so hungry for power that a little sacrifice to Satan, if it would get them what they crave, would be not unthinkable. I do believe that Satan infiltrates governments and churches. I suppose one could call that a "conspiracy theory" too!

Your argument about "there being another side," is very true. I just told my 22 year old son the same thing. However, we are TOOO dependent on the government. Some act as though IT is our savior, which I find repulsive. We are primed and ready to pay allegiance to the god of nationalism -- very dangerous! The microchip is being implanted in PEOPLE already. [You do believe that, right?]

Hey, Paul, you are a gentleman. I appreciate that!

God Bless,

Gail

P.S. I will rewatch the video and cite you some specific sources. As to bible study shut downs, etc., Jay Sekulow of the American Center of Law and Justice has a call-in show where people from across the nation call in with 'abuses' by schools, etc. Jay is a lawyer and has taken on the ACLU and won many times. His website also contains much documentation on cases he has taken and won. www.aclj.org (I think).

From the link:

"David Icke warned me against it. He said the reptilian bloodlines transform themselves back into giant lizards at Bohemian Grove. Furthermore, he said, Henry Kissinger, Jimmy Carter, Walter Cronkite and the male members of the British Royal family routinely sexually abuse their harem of kidnapped sex slaves - brainwashed through the MKULTRA trauma-based mind control program - at the Grove. I asked David how he knew this, and he explained that one of the sex slaves, a woman called Cathy O'Brien, escaped and wrote a chilling memoir about her experiences called the TranceFormation of America. "If you read Cathy O'Brien's book," said David, "you'd know not to go anywhere near the place. People disappear in those forests."

... again, "transform themselves back into giant lizards "

Come on!

Bill

-- Bill Nelson (bnelson45@hotmail.com), August 21, 2003.

It is a spoof! See:

http://www.jonronson.com/them_fave.html The result is a funny, superbly controlled account of his wanderings through the wonderland of fanaticism and delusion. This may be one more example of the "cool hack meets weird people" genre, which was already looking jaded in the late 1960s. But it is lifted out of the ordinary: first, by the quality of Ronson's writing; second, by the carefully disguised seriousness of his intent; and third, by his Jewish identity.

The writing is carefully understated. He avoids too much comment, offers little analysis, and lets his material speak for itself. In fact, his material is so good that it would be madness to do otherwise. With David Icke believing the world is controlled by a conspiracy of 12ft lizards, almost everybody believing it is run by a committee of malevolent Jews, and with the blandly confident antics of London's own pocket Islamic warrior, Omar Bakri Mohammed, all Ronson needs to do most of the time is stand back and watch. The result is high comedy. Omar, for example, likes to take advantage of Office World's Price Promise when photocopying his leaflets furthering the cause of Islamic rule in Britain. "Ohyes," he explains, "I benefit from your capitalism to convey the message" - - and, when Ronson visits Office World with Omar, so does a Hasidic Jew, who is copying some sheet music for a barmitzvah. The Jew glances at Omar's leaflets -- with their demand to "Crush the Pirate State of Israel!" -- and glares at them. "This is a very sensitive moment," whispers Omar. Then there is the plot by antiracists to throw a meringue pie at David Icke in a bookshop. It misses and splatters all over the children's section. "Well, that massively backfired," murmurs Icke. ...

These faiths have the crucial virtue of making their adherents feel they belong. Contemplating them, Ronson, the wandering Jew, feels he does not -- maybe cannot -- belong. At this point, his Jewishness plays a trick on him. Sitting with a Jewish film director in the back of a limo in Hollywood, he suddenly feels relaxed. These are his people. But wait a minute, perhaps this is the conspiracy. "Is this the secret room, this limousine's interior, right now? Is it us?" He steps back from this moment, pointing out that the Jews' very attempt to mingle with the Gentiles has created the myth of "a shadowy cabal: we Jews who camouflage ourselves". They are not doing anything sinister, they are "just hopelessly in love with the camouflage". But the stepping back is not quite enough. He is right, the Jews are not conspiring, they are embarrassed. But, more broadly, the liberal elites of the west are engaged in some sort of loose, unconscious conspiracy to spread something that is not so much a doctrine as a way of life they find comforting to their own rootlessness. Viewed from the other side of the looking glass, this can appear as crazy as Icke and his lizards. Belief, after all, is the normal human condition; it may, in truth, be the only viable way of life. That, as this book so wittily demonstrates, is the issue. "

The Bohemian Grove is literally in my backyard: Camp Meeker/M.R. California. I wont speculate as to what the club does or does not do, but I do know that they exist as I know three members. ANY time a gathering of that many powerful people occurs, satanic Illuminatti clut or not, bad things happen. Viva La Revolution

-- Sonoma Man (siddharthadpat@hotmail.com), November 22, 2003.

hahahahahahahahahaha,

I wont speculate as to what the club does or does not do, but I do know that they exist as I know three members

this one believes that there is a club reserved for the most powerful people in the world, and its in his BACK YARD. not only that, he PERSONALLY KNOWS three members of the most powerful men in the world.

what youre talking about, man, is a country club, not a satanic gathering of world leaders. but yes, when powerful people play tennis and drink cocktails EVIL MUST HAPPEN (muwah HA HA)

-- paul h (dontSendMeMail@notAnAddress.com), November 27, 2003.

I live fairly close and have relatives nearby in Sonoma County. This place does exist, but it is not a fancy resort. I have a couple of friends who are brothers and their father has been a member of the Bohemian Club for years. Not everyone in the club is a "Who's Who", but they do share a certain mindset and have more $ resources than the average joe. In the Grove, there are various "camps" (clubs within the club) and some are more pretigious than others. My friends have been invited to accompany their dad the last two summers. I know that there is a lot of drinking (and I mean A LOT).

I love it when people claim that the grove doesn't exist. I refer you to the book, "Reagan: a life in letters" just look in the index for bohemian grove or club. There are a number of references. OK! SO we have officially proven that it exists. Also, I tend to not believe the "USAF" vet above, because I DO know people from the town right outside the grove, and HE says, everyone in the town works there, including his science teacher from high school, and friends who drove the busses which carry members from the parking area to the grove. also check this website. Are you not going to believe the photos of Jack London? http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/London/Images/search.cgi?Caption=Bohemian+ Grove&type=and

Paul h,

I've seen the videotape that was procured by a group of journalists who secretly infiltrated the B.G. What I saw was thousands of guys standing around a giant owl (statue) paying homage to it, brochures with little (hand-drawn) pictures of demons sweeping up the charred remains of infants who were "sacrificed", and demonic laughter being amplified over loud speakers. The journalists then took the tape to an occult expert who explained the meaning of the ritual. He stated it was a combination of "Mystery Babylon" religions and Satanism. (Check out Revelations Chap 17 and Chap 18)

Okay, so maybe you don't believe it. It is rather absurb, I agree! It's CRAZY! However, let's take a look at the agenda of the global elitists. You know, the New World Order, One World Government guys. Surely, you believe they exist and have a real agenda, don't you? Who is fueling their fire? Who is the air beneath their wings? Who is giving them life? (One guess is all ya get)

Along these lines, I was just watching EWTN this morning. The guest was Mary Jo Anderson, Journalist, who has just published a video depicting the push towards complete world dominance by the globalists. Pretty scary stuff. She quoted one of the well-known philosophers of the NWO equating Christians to a "cancer that must be excised, if not by conversion, then certainly cleansing would be an option."

So Paul h, I wish I could say that B.G. is just too outlandish to believe. That world leaders, men of prestige and high standing wouldn't participate in such a barbaric and Satanic ritual, but that would be like the proverbial-ostrich with his proverbial-head stuck in the proverbial-sand.

Love ya,

gail, not to sound sarcastic here, but heres the story the guy is pitching you:

the government is behind a conspiracy to unite the world and to purge it from all the christians, especially the so-called conservatives who claim to be christians. only the nihlist liberal pro abortion pro-gay marraige liberals can save us from these conservative republicans who go to public parks (note: i looked at the pictures, i've been to one of the places shown, and there is no resort there) and turn into reptiles.

those pictures were taken in 1915. they show a few tents and some guys hanging out at a public camp ground. i dont deny the fact that there are PLENTY of resorts in northern california. what i can tell you, is that there is not an uber secret pagan club named the bohemian grove in the location which is pointed to by the original author... like i said, i have been to one of the places in those pictures... i have sat on the same tree. hell, there may even be a resort called the bohemian grove, although its obviously a) too public to be a secret cultist movement and b) not where the author portrays, severely crippling his credibility.

like i said, where i grew up, no one spits but everyone knows about it. and those crazy republicans transforming back into reptiles are slightly more than spitting.

Here's an excerpt taken from the San Francisco Gate mentioning the B.G. and also mentioning some attendees, proving the existence and at least some of the members of the B.G.

Phillip Matier, Andrew Ross Wednesday, July 23, 2003

Plenty of eyebrows are being raised over San Francisco District Attorney Terence Hallinan's decision to allow -- even encourage -- his prosecutors to give alleged Fajitagate victim Jade Santoro a break on a drug bust conviction. . . . .

From what we've hear, the Republican hierarchy -- especially those close to former Gov. Pete Wilson -- would favor Schwarzenegger. AT LEAST THAT'S THE WORD THAT CAME OUT OF THE BOHEMIAN GROVE this past weekend, where a number of state and national GOPers, including presidential adviser Karl Rove, happened to have gathered at a club getaway.

-- paul h (dontsendmemail@notanaddress.com), June 26, 2004.

Hi Paul h,

Have you been inside the Grove? I thought you said earlier that it doesn't even exist . . . ?

At any rate, I hope you're right, that these rich bobs do not really participate in anything so heinous. My first impulse after seeing the video (provided to me by a friend) was that it was a bunch of rich snots having a "grand old time" slaying "Dull Care," as if they were kicking off the good-ole-summer-time with a new "sport". Perhaps that is all they were doing. I think the tape is real, but I'm not sure about the motives of the persons participating in the "display," whether it was really meant to be just a game played by a bunch of rich aristocrats who can't find anything better to do, or something more sinister. The ritual is supposedly held only once a year, so it is a but a meer diversion from the other more "noble" events held at the Grove.

Gail

-- Gail (rothfarms@socket.net), June 26, 2004.

Have you been inside the Grove? I thought you said earlier that it doesn't even exist . . . ?

no, what i said was that the pictures posted earlier showed a place i had been, claiming it was the bohemian grove. i have been to that location, and theres nothing there resembling what could be describe as a secret club for the rich.
