hey i've noticed that people dowload stuff (in this case ANIME EPISODES) from kazaa and then, i dunno, do something to it or god knows what and then they can send it to people via IM or email or website or something...exactly how is that done? Or maybe it's just my imagination. a helpful response is always appreciated ^o^ and i just put this in the anime section cuz...um...well...i didnt know where else ta put it -_-'

Um...what? lol. They download it as .avi or whatever and give it to ppl like that, I think. Why would they wanna convert it...? :P. Then they just give it to ppl by uploading it to a site or sending it through a messenger service as it is or through a P2P like KaZaA or WinMX or mIRC or something like that =P. I don't really understand what u mean by converting though :D.

yeah see that just proves i have no idea as to what the heck they do. Well i dont know, but this one dude told me he dowloaded all of his stuff from kazaa and that he could send it to me if i wanted (of course at last minute he came up with an excuse but thats not the point here...) and i told him i didn't have Kazaa so how would he do it and he just sed it's on his hard drive and yeah so i am so utterly confused!!!! but thanks for clearing that up!!

hmm..Maybe he meant thru www.streamload.com which can handle large anime files...which you then have to pay to dnload onto your 'puter??

I have a related question. Is it possible to convert .avi files to a different format. My computer does not support that and all of my favorite shows are .avi. Please help.

Goodie McGoodster,What format do you want to convert your AVI files to? I know how to convert AVIs to MPG so they can be turned into VCDs. If you want to know how to convert them to some other format, I can do a little research and tell you if it's possible.
