Does anyone know of any place that sells new cords for the Corning ware electromatic 10 cup coffee pot? I would think that this cord was not made just for Corning but am unable to locate one.

I have contacted a small appliance repair shop about 50 miles from here. They think that they can get me a brand new cord,they have had them in the past. They do not ship so I will have to go and see when and if they get them in. I do not know what the price would be if they would be brown or black but they would not have the Corning logo on them. I will post here when I get more information and if anyone would like for me to get them 1 I will. I think I could mail them in a padded envelope for not very much money. The used ones that I have bought in the past don't seem to last very long because they are so old. I use my coffee pot and am hoping that a new cord will last much longer.

The small appliance store called me today and the cords are in. If anyone is interested they are 12.50 plus postage. Please contact me if you need one and I will pick it up with mine.
