Remarry in non-Catholic church

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

I am a non catholic that married a catholic in a catholic ceremony (no mass). Due to his behavior both before and during the marriage, we decided to divorce after 9 months of marriage. I am now wanting to remarry in a non catholic ceremony. Will my non catholic church accept my new marriage without an anullment from the catholic church? I am not concerned about my marriage being accepted in the catholic church.

Response to Remarry in non Cataholic church

Most non-Catholic churches require nothing more than a civil divorce. But why are you asking here? You should ask your non-Catholic church, really. They each have their own rules.
