Cat

I have a 2 year old cat who recently started urinating outside his litter box. I have 2 other cats who's behavior have not changed. I took the 2 year old cat to the vet, left him over night, and they diagnosed him with a urinary infection through testing of urine samples, gave us antibiotics, and sent us on our way. He is still urinating outside the litter box. We started his treatment over a week ago, the vet said we would notice a change in his behavior almost immediately. Am I just impatient? Or is there another problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Amber. We've been having problems lately with one of our cats, too. I hope Old Git sees this thread and gives some hints. She's definitely a cat expert.

Move the litter box over to where he is urinating. Obviously he can't see what he's doing when he's doing it.

If that doesn't work, smack him.

When Git does get over here, I shudder to think of the spanking barefoot will get ...
