I'm amending the soil along the side of my garage, which receives filtered sun all day. Is it too late to plant seeds (4 o-clocks, columbine, california poppies, baby's breath and scarlet flax)? I'm planning to use the small leaf variety of ice plant instead of a lawn and would also like to know the proper spacing when planting the individual plants. I know they grow well and fast and using them before planted them close togeter (4-5 inches). Will planting them farther apart allow for faster coverage? Thank you all Lou
