I am a apartment manager. The property I manage was sold more then a year ago. My job duties became more physical, I mean I became a groundsmen, a maintenance person, and performed all office duties. As long as I had a vacancy I had to work. We always have vacants because the way he treats the residents. He likes giving 30 day notices and evictions. If residents don't agree with what ever he says or wants. and alot of times what he want's are not resonable or legal. I'm on salery so he works me to death. But I do not have any insurence for my family. My son needed to go to the doctor whitch resulted in needed a opperation. I took on another job. 3 nights a week. I never aloud my secondary job to interfered with my job as a manager. But he gave me a termination letter stating he fired me because I had another job. Do I have a case againest him? I'm a singal person and he bullies me just like the residents. HELP! What can I do???

This is a common reason to fire employees, but an unfair one. There are not many legal protections for employees.
