I learned that .hack//SIGN's 27th episode,.hack//another story,is titled,"Intermezzo"or something like that.Its all Mimiru's POV(as we probably all know).It happens 2yrs. before the end of .hack//SIGN.Dont ask me where i got all this info.I just went to Amazon.com to search for .hack stuff and i found an entire info website on .hack!*E-mail me if any other info is needed!*

the mimiru episode #27 is basically about the aftermath with tsukasa and the whole key of the twilight deal..rumor has it that there is even a #28 episode were it features the cast members of the .hack games kite, blackrose, balmung (again), mia, elk, mistral, orca, and everyone else i believe. i dont know how long it is or what it is about but i do have artbook scans that prove it exists ^_^ hope i was helpful dot hack fan.

Hey everyone. Well, I came across this after searching for more .hack info, and at one point I ended up on the Japanese site, where I found out that there IS a 28th episode. It's coming out on October 24th if I remember correctly in Japan. But it's coming out as a part of a package called .hack//INTEGRATION which includes all 28 episodes of .hack//SIGN, .hack//LIMINALITY, and .hack//Udeden and it costs like 8,700 yen. I dled the promotional video from the site and everything too. Real interesting, but no sound at least not that I could hear on my computer...>.> BRB with the website URL cuz some reason I can't open another window right now.
