As one of the many other digital camera fanatics here, I think it's good we have a list of retailers to facilitate our price hunt, as well as reviews of shops we have patronised. It's really frustrating when you do not have resources to guage shop integrity.

Here's my review on

Song Brothers - Don't bother. NOTHING is cheap there. They make the shop very presentable to attract foreign visitors, and then go for the kill. It's no wonder most of the customers you see are not locals. Bought an MD Player out of sheer rash from them.

Nab Nab Trading - Was introduced and bought a Konica KD-300Z + 128 SDCard + Spare Batt for S$880 early 2003. Staff I spoke to was kind enough to entertain my retail-hopping in search for my digicam. Initial quotation they gave for S45 was also lowest among the shops. Nonetheless the final price isn't spectacular considering it costs about US$300. Make sure you do your homework.

Be careful when you buy from Nab Nab Trading - they are not honest folks. Got reap off when I bought a Digital video camera, they told me the price they gave is the lowest and I could come back and get refund if I find any shop that is offering lower price. I went back after a few days because I found out that another shop was offering 200 bucks lower. They refused to entertain me when I returned. I vowed never to get anything from them ever. The shop beside them is also belonging to nab nab trading but different name.
