What if annulment is denied?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

I am a practicing Catholic who plans to marry a non-Catholic who will be going to RCIA in the fall. He is divorcing from a non Catholic marriage, I guess I've accepted the fact that he has to go through the annulment process, but what happens if its denied? and does his ex-wife have to have any part of that? Can I still have a catholic recognized marriage & parcticipate in sacraments?

Can I still have a catholic recognized marriage & parcticipate in sacraments? Not if his first marriage is found to be valid.
