Can someone explain to me what IRC and Streamloader are?

People always talk about getting their scans by these two things but I dont understand what they are?!? If they are some sort of downloading service could you possibly give me an link to the website where I can download them.. I was also wondering are they free or do you have to pay? Thanks so much! Im also half japanese so if you need any help in anything japanese or in that fashion I can help you because I can speak write and understand both languages perfectly!

irc is free.. its a download service thing.. u need to download irc.. in order to get the mangas..

its not p2p but it acts like p2p.. i dunno how to explain it..

download it.. then run it.. its not as easy as p2p where u search what ur lookin for.. u need to go throuh each server to find the manga ur lookin for..

1st - mIRC is not IRC. mIRC is just a client that let's you use IRC. Or do you think people with linux can't use IRC (since mIRC won't work on linux without WINE)?

2nd - It doesn't act as p2p... never did. It's a chat thing and users do exchange files, but if you wanna go technical that is called DCC.

3rd - Going through every server is close to impossible since there are a couple hundred thousand of them (there are thousands of networks) and they connect into networks. You'd have to search the networks NOT servers.

Calling it simple might prove wrong... it is simple if someone shows you how to do it, otherwise it isn't.
