Why do they have to do this to us. i have a qestion uif naruto does get licensed will there still be people fannsubbing it?

Here's the scenario:

1) someone from anbu's irc channel (anbudom) started the rumor saying that they've received an email (or call or whatever) from Bandai that they're going to license Naruto this weekend...

2) Now anbu has come out and say it's all a hoax and not true...

3) why the sudden spread of rumor? bcos the Otakon 2003 is going to be held over the weekend and pp have said there's a likelihood that some anime series are going to be licensed then.

4) in conclusion, we can only keep our fingers crossed and hope it is indeed just a scare. according to the initial anbu rumor, they may not even release ep 44 if the series get licensed, so now we can only wait and wait and wait................

if naruto get licensed........

option 1) can still get from mIRC and then pp will share on kazaalite (or whatever p2p) and it'll get spread around

option 2) those "official" fansubbers will stop subbing it but most likely some other small n obscure groups will take over but it'll be harder to find the links n they definitely won't do it on time like anbu...

option 3) wait for the crappy dubbed and edited version on CN or AS or whatever channel

option 4) wait for the dvd n buy

option 5) learn jap n migrate to japan

migrate to japan? lol i wish i could!! But that's right it'll be crappy as hell once it's edited and translated. They should have cartoon network forums so we can tell them not to and just leave it subtitled. I hope they dont change the openings and endings(like they wont) cuz then it'll suck ass like dbz did. Then the naruto games will come out.....yes. It's about to be licensed here. The naruto manga was supposed to be out already but i cant find it.

well im pretty sure that naruto will be licensed before it ever gets close to finishing since it may go up to as many episodes as dbz did.
