I recently read some of the posts here about escaltor testing and found them very interesting. I did not see and referance of how to load test a escaltor. A heard that years ago a large group of police officers were hired to ride escalator for load testing, two men per step aprox 400 lbs per step. I am curious how you preform test weight testing on a moving escalator both up and down testing for brake testing. Would someone please explain how this is done without damaging the unit and what type, size, and shape of test weights. thanks Jim
