I don't do my birds that way either, LOL. I just posted in for beginner information. I would be interested in hearing how you do yours? I personally cut the tail right off which brings the bung right with it. I usually try to tie off the crop and force it right through the front and out with the rest of the innards. I am willing to learn a new method though.

when I hunt birds, grouse, pheasant, ducks,, ect. I dont pluck them,, usually too much fat, and too much trouble. I usually skin them. Thats whatI started doing with chickens and turkeys. Cut the head off. Skin the feathers off. Gut as normal, trim feet. Wing tips wusually have to be cut as you skin. and your all done.
