Answers

i dont think it means anything, but in the show if you foolie coolie, you fool around with a girl

FLCL/Furi Kuri/Fooly Cooly is a nonsense word in Japanese that means nothing.

Anyone who says otherwise is just pulling whatever they said out of their asses.

First of all its called fooly cooly in american or FLCL or in japa its called furi kuri. Anyways about the question it does not mean when you fool around with girl i think...it might be but my guess is that it is the stuff that comes out of noatas head or the bumps because in the episode brittle bullet near the beggining mamimi asks is that fooly cooly again? to noata. So thats what i think it is but it might not be. I also have a question why does everyone call noata takon and sometimes his dad calls him noatakon??? i dont get it.

Its my understanding that it means fooling around, but not always in a sexual manner.

Fooly Cooly actually means a verb in Japanese to want bread. Though I understand why because Nayota's father runs a bakery. Don't correct me either. I asked one of my friends that was Japanese. And in the Japanese verison it's prounouced Furi Kurri

think its fooling around sex in it or not

The Furi Kuri in Japanese comes about because in Japanese script, there is not a character for the ly at the end of Fooly Cooly, and Furi Kuri is the closest matching syllables to it.

Fooly Cooly is the English translation of Furi Kuri. Furi Kuri is a play on the Japanese onomatopoeia "Kuri Kuri", which is the sound of kneading bread and fondling a woman's breast.

People call Naota Takkun because it's a nickname for him made-up for him by Mamimi. It doesn't mean anything it's just a nickname that she made-up. Anyone dare to disagree it's even says it in the dvd thing.

Furi Kuri or whatever you want to spell it or pronounce it means absolutly nothing to the show, they even ask each other what it means, it's nonsence, it was just something funny to say over and over again in the manga sceens.. that's all.. it has been a question that everyone who has watched the show has asked at one time or another.. I think he planned it that way.. just look who created it... the same guy who did Eva and Haro Kano.. 'nuff said
