Oh the humanity!!! When Will the Horror End?

First off, let me say that I am not a DBZ hater. I respect all anime/manga for what they are and have no place belittling an Anime until I can come up with my own world-popular idea/show. I am sure that DBZ has had an effect on bringing Anime a little closer to the forefront in the U.S. Also, I recognize DBZ as the show (on Cartoon Network) that introduced me to the world of Anime. Since then, I have broadened my horizons (a bit) and found other Anime that suited my tastes a little better than DBZ. I started to lose track/get bored with the whole thing when Namek's puke-green sky made me depressed everyday and the 5 minutes it took Namek to blow up was dragged out through two grueling weeks of pointlessly long shows. It was a nice run for DBZ, about 5 or 6 years in a prime spot for cartoon viewing. Over those years it has held its own in ratings, spawned a decently successful video game franchise (here in the States, Japan is a different story) and even topped internet searches year after year. However, now that the monotonous Buu Saga is long since completed (twice) and the series has ended (story-wise) one would think it wise to bow DBZ to another time-slot (perhaps saturday nights; yes I know) or take it off-air entirely, thus freeing up time to air another anime new to U.S. viewers. Instead, much to my chagrin, it appears DBZ is still going strong. Not only has the Freeza Saga restarted, thus restarting another run of a billion episodes of sceaming, golden-haired, uber-dudes on Toonami, but saturday will now carry a time-slot of DBZ a la Rising Sun days, AND Toonami will start airing even God damn more DBZ movies. I pray that this is only to keep up DBZ interest for the upcoming Budokai video game installment, and will thus end after the holiday season. If not, then something is seriously wrong with Cartoon Network (as if that wasn't apperant already). I wonder if CN executives have ever seen Old Yeller? Stop the pain, CN, put all parties involved out of their misery and remove DBZ.

See, this is one of the many reasons why DBZ sucks. Even after 2305734858904537590384759+ full runs, the same idiotic DBZ fans always go back to watch it every damn time.

Then there are idiots like SSJ 5 Kind Dumbass who is writing DB NW which nobody will give a shit about or read, claiming that Toei will buy it and it will become big in the US. DBZ is repetitive, plain and simple.

I heard from somewhere that the episodes their showing right now have the new voice cast, and they are uncut. That's why their showing it again. But that might be wrong. I used to like DBZ but it has got very boring. So i don't watch it anymore. I watch many other things now. Stuff that suits me.
