"Subject: Is there a rule where licensed works can't be download any more?"

It is against the law to download licensed and unlicensed anime.

I believe that it is against the law to download licensed works but not licensed works are fine. (I might be wrong though^_^)

Licensed work. Do you mean if the anime is licensed in Ameriaca or Europe. Fan subs are already illegal, but if the ¨work¨ is not official licensed, fansubs will continue (in the gray zone). Download an already licensed work without paying... it`s sure it`s illegal.

who cares about the law nowadays? so what if it's illegal? u can still find licensed anime fansubs for BT. all u have to do is to search around. use google or something.

I'm not sure about distribution, but editing the original content (fansub) is already illegal because it is copyright infringement.

Downloading licenesed anime is illegal but I, like most ppl here, really don't care. As for unlicenesed anime, its "illegal" if you sell it for money but not for personal use since its not licenesed (hence the name UNlicenesed)

Well, I don't really care if it gets licensed or not. I live in Holland and what good is it for me when a manga or anime gets licensed and comes out in America? So I figure, I can still download it as long as it isn't available in my country. ^_^
