Hood sled

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ACountryPlace : One Thread

I was reading an old magazine where a family was pictured using an inverted car hood as a sled to buck hay. They were using draft horses, but I suppose it would work to use even a riding lawnmower to pull things around on mucky ground in winter, A 75' Ford truck hood would be perfect for this.

What horse power is your rider, Hoot? I may go ahead and have Kenny fashion me one for winter.

Hey Lil! I've used old hoods for years. I STILL have a couple I use. Pulls easily and will not sink in the mud. Pull'm with my Troy Bilt rider mower. Cheap and easily obtained. old hoot. Matt.24;44
