I noticed that girls like to run around fighting in dresses,mini skirts,skirts etc. for example Kagome from inuyasha she constantly has a skirt on. Same goes to animes Wedding peach,sailor moon,Yura from inuyasha and more.

Well they are usually coming from school so it makes sense. Kagome just happened to be wearing one and I suppose she and the people in the past just got use to it. And I suppose that is what most Japanese girls are wearing during the day...

how would YOU like to travel around in a big 'ol skirt all day long besides most girls nowadays wear skirts, it's a normal thing! it's probably not purposefully drawn in to appeal to guys. have u tried to run/kick butt in clothes that tread on ur shoes?? i dunno bout u but i'd probably fall on my face most of the time if i'd have to wear something that cumbersome.
