Hi, I have 2 volunteer sunflowers ( thanks to the chickadees) that I would like to harvest seeds for planting next Spring. How long should I leave the drying flower head on the plant before I harvest? Can I cut them as soon as I see seeds or wait until the plant has begun to dry as well? Thanks!
